CrossFit Open 18.5 Tips

Week 5 of the 2018 CrossFit Open is finally here and the CrossFit community was given the choice of picking the final workout.  All three workouts included chest-to-bar pull-ups so there was no escaping that movement.  In the end the community choose to redo 11.6 which will be both fun and painful!  Below are the best tips and strategy videos we were able to find to help you get through this tough workout.  Good luck to all the athletes tackling 18.5 this weekend.  In my opinion this has been the best open to date.  See you guys on the leaderboard.

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of:
3 thrusters
3 chest-to-bar pull-ups
6 thrusters
6 chest-to-bar pull-ups
9 thrusters
9 chest-to-bar pull-ups
12 thrusters
12 chest-to-bar pull-ups
15 thrusters
15 chest-to-bar pull-ups
18 thrusters
18 chest-to-bar pull-ups
This is a timed workout. If you complete the round of 18, go on to 21. If you complete 21, go on to 24, etc.

Men use 100 lb. Women use 65lb.
