Day 1 of the 2017 Kill Cliff Granite Games is in the books and Team Greater Than leads the Pro Female Team division by taking 1st place in the first two events. Mekenzie Riley, Jessica Griffith and Meredith Root out of CrossFit Northlake make up Team Greater Than. In 2nd place is team NoBull made up of Jennifer Dancer, Brooke Wells and Kristi Eramo out of QTown CrossFit. Chelsea Lyons, Danielle Knot and Lydia Novotny of team The 6.1.2 are currently sitting 3rd out of CrossFit Kingfield.
Team Bilingual Bandits Bilingue made up of Patrick Vellner, Albert-Dominic Larouche and Paul Tremblay are currently in 1st place in Pro Male Team division. They finished 1st and 2nd in the first two events almost matching Team Greater Than from the female division. John Coltey, Adam Vinson and Jonathan Wall of Team Fitchalk out of Alabama Goon Squad CrossFit are sitting in 2nd. Team Pro Energy Nutrition out of CrossFit Markham are currently in 3rd place.
Day 2 will consist of 3 events starting with 400 meter swim followed by a 2500 meter run so we’ll see how that shakes up the leaderboard. We’ll keep you updated on the standings after day 2.
